Meet Dr. Zoma

Dear Valued Patient,

After 30 years, Dr. William Semperger has decided to retire from the field of dentistry. Having many qualified candidates to carry the legacy of Dr. Semperger’s practice, I am very honored to be chosen. Dr. Semperger and I share remarkably similar values and beliefs when it comes to the care of our patients. We both strive to provide the highest level of dental care while providing a welcoming and caring environment to partner with our patients to develop appropriate care plans. From the first time Dr. Semperger and I met, I knew his practice was a perfect fit for me due to his truly kind and caring nature. It was evident his primary focus was patient care more than anything, and this is extremely important to me.

In all aspects of life, change can be hard. I understand a patient’s concern to change dentists after seeing the same dentist for many years. The following question may run through one’s mind: Is this new dentist going to provide me with the same level of care that I have always been given? My core philosophy with every patient I treat is, “would I provide this care on my family or myself?” I pride myself in treating all my patients like family and my goal each and every day is to make sure that I perform the highest level of dental care both compassionately and ethically. Dentistry is not just a career to me; it is my life and my passion. Understanding how important it is to feel comfortable with your dentist, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself.

My name is Dr. Jacqueline J. Zoma, a native of the Metro Detroit area. I was raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and I am the youngest of five children. My inspiration and motivation come from my parents, who have always encouraged me to reach my highest potential while remaining honest, kind, and equitable. I currently live in Farmington Hills, Michigan with my husband Bashar, 2 cats, Simba and Bella, and our dog, Max. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.

I am a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry (UDM) where I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. While at UDM, I traveled to Honduras with the Christian Dental Association providing dental care to underserved patients. I was honored with the Francis B. Vedder Society of Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics Award from UDM School of Dentistry. I am committed to lifelong learning and have completed numerous hours of continuing education courses to provide high quality dental care to the patients I serve. In addition, I am a proud graduate of the Dawson Academy where I received comprehensive dental training. Finally, I have been recognized in Hour Detroit Top dentist Magazine, Women in medicine, and Top Doctor in Family and Cosmetic dentistry.

I look forward to meeting you in person and playing a role in the dental care provided to you and your families. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime with any questions or concerns. I welcome you to my dental family and thank you in advance for allowing me the opportunity to partner with you to keep your smile healthy and continuously bright and beautiful.

Jacqueline J. Zoma, DDS

Dear Valued Patients,

My goal over the past 39 years has been to maintain patient health by providing quality dental care.  In today’s world, change occurs at a much faster pace.  Dental practice transitions unfortunately fall under this category.  I have decided to retire after careful consideration.  I’ve been lucky to find an experienced dentist who can provide a seamless transition.

Dr. Jacqueline Zoma has been a practicing dentist for over 10 years.  She currently has an existing practice in West Bloomfield. Dr. Zoma possesses that rare combination of excellent clinical skills and genuine compassion for patient concerns. Although this transition has occurred at a whirlwind pace, I’m extremely confident in Dr. Zoma’s role as new owner.  Dr. Jacqueline Zoma and her associate, Dr. Jessica Saikaley will continue to provide quality care.  The practice transition questions that arise when a new practitioner assumes the reigns have only confirmed my confidence in Dr. Zoma as the right choice.

A practice transition letter can never convey the appreciation I have for the patient  friendships we’ve developed.  This, I will truly miss.

Perhaps now will be the time to schedule my knee surgery. Besides, retirement will allow Roz the time to really focus on my knee rehabilitation.

Sincerely,

Dr. William R. Semperger
